Creator Terms
Additional responsibilities and conditions for creators building and earning through ViLo.
EffectiveJuly 7, 2026 These Creator Program Terms supplement the general Terms of Service and apply when you apply for, own, manage, or earn through a creator page on ViLo. If these Creator Program Terms conflict with the general Terms on a creator-specific issue, these Creator Program Terms control. 1. Authority and Accurate Information You confirm that you are authorized to represent the creator, brand, organization, or project associated with the page. You will provide accurate account, identity, contact, tax, payout, product, and fulfillment information and keep it current. 2. Creator Responsibility You are responsible for your content, membership promises, products, services, community activity, customer communication, fulfillment, refunds, taxes, licenses, and compliance with applicable law. Approval or verification by ViLo is not an endorsement of your content or business. 3. ViLo Fee and Processing Costs The creator community fee is 5% of successful creator payments unless a written promotional or negotiated arrangement states otherwise. Payment-processing, currency-conversion, dispute, refund, tax, or payout-provider fees may also apply. Fees may be deducted before creator proceeds are made available. 4. Memberships and Benefits Describe membership benefits clearly and provide them in a timely and reasonable manner. Do not promise benefits you cannot legally or practically provide. Material changes to price or benefits should be communicated clearly. Members must be able to cancel future renewals through available billing tools. 5. Products, Services, and Fulfillment Product listings must be accurate. You are responsible for inventory, quality, shipping, delivery, digital access, customer service, returns, and legally required disclosures. Do not list prohibited, unsafe, counterfeit, infringing, deceptive, or regulated items without all required authorization. 6. Content Rights You retain ownership of creator content you submit. You grant ViLo the license described in the general Terms so the service can host, deliver, promote, secure, and technically adapt the content. You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed for content, music, images, trademarks, likenesses, and other materials you use. 7. Member Information You may receive member or customer information needed to provide benefits or fulfill orders. Use it only for legitimate creator-community, support, and fulfillment purposes. Do not sell it, misuse it, combine it with unrelated databases, or contact members outside reasonable expectations without permission. 8. Safety and Community Standards You must follow the Terms, safety rules, payment-provider requirements, and applicable content policies. You are responsible for moderating creator-managed spaces and responding reasonably to safety, fraud, and fulfillment concerns. 9. Payouts, Holds, and Reserves Payout availability depends on successful payment settlement, verification, risk review, dispute status, and provider rules. We may delay, offset, reverse, or hold creator funds when reasonably necessary for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, policy violations, legal obligations, negative balances, or payment-provider instructions. 10. Refunds, Disputes, and Negative Balances You are financially responsible for refunds, disputes, chargebacks, reversal fees, and losses connected to your activity unless ViLo agrees otherwise in writing. Amounts may be deducted from current or future creator proceeds. You agree to cooperate with evidence requests and member-resolution efforts. 11. Taxes You are responsible for identifying, collecting, reporting, and paying taxes applicable to your creator activity except where ViLo or a payment provider is legally required to do so. We may request tax information and may withhold payouts when required information is missing or invalid. 12. Promotion and Discovery You allow ViLo to display your public creator name, profile, images, excerpts, products, membership offers, and public activity in discovery, search, recommendations, previews, and promotional placements. You may control some visibility settings, but public creator pages are intended to be discoverable. 13. Account Access and Team Members You are responsible for people you authorize to access Creator Studio. Assign only the permissions they need, remove access promptly when roles change, and protect payout and security settings. Actions taken by authorized team members are treated as actions of the creator account. 14. Suspension or Removal We may limit creator tools, pause listings, hold payouts, remove content, suspend the creator page, or terminate Creator Program access for safety, legal, fraud, payment, fulfillment, or policy reasons. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to appeal. 15. Leaving the Creator Program You may stop offering new memberships or products and may request closure of a creator page. Existing obligations to members, customers, payment providers, and tax authorities continue. We may preserve records needed for accounting, disputes, safety, or legal compliance. 16. No Employment or Agency Creators are independent users of the service. These Creator Program Terms do not create employment, partnership, franchise, fiduciary, joint venture, or agency relationships. 17. Changes We may update these Creator Program Terms. Material changes may require renewed acceptance before continued use of creator monetization or publishing tools. 18.
